01 · Scope of Coverage

An international lifetime warranty.

Each EMERA timepiece carries an international lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

The warranty attaches to the timepiece itself and remains valid for the lifetime of the piece, transferring to any subsequent owner upon verification of authenticity by EMERA. Coverage is provided worldwide by EMERA or its approved partners.

02 · Complimentary Services

Two services. Ten years.

The warranty includes two complimentary services, each consisting of a full revision of the movement: disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, regulation and water resistance verification, performed by the watchmakers of EMERA or its approved partners.

EMERA recommends a full service every five years. The first two services, covering the first ten years, are complimentary. Beyond them, maintenance remains available at preferential rates.

03 · Exclusions

What the warranty does not cover.

  • Normal wear and ageing of components, including straps and surface marks.
  • Accidental damage, misuse, negligence, or damage from abnormal conditions of use.
  • Water damage following improper use, or any intervention not performed by EMERA or an approved partner.
  • Any repair, modification or servicing carried out by a third party not approved by EMERA. Such intervention voids the warranty.
  • Theft and loss.
  • Indirect or consequential damages of any kind arising from use, non use, malfunction, defects, or lack of precision.

04 · Validity

Activated on first sale.

The warranty takes effect on the date of first sale and is activated upon registration of the timepiece with EMERA, together with proof of purchase. The serial number and the certificate of authenticity must be presented for any claim.

05 · Claims

A direct line.

To make a claim, contact EMERA to obtain a return authorization.

The timepiece must be sent, securely packaged and insured, to EMERA or to the nearest approved partner. Return shipping of pieces covered under warranty is arranged by EMERA.

06 · Statutory Rights

In addition to your rights.

This warranty is granted in addition to, and does not affect, any mandatory rights the purchaser may have under applicable consumer protection law.

07 · Governing Law

Governed by Swiss law.

These conditions are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at the registered seat of EMERA, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions.
