Not as aesthetic but as projection. The idea that there already exist figures the human eye cannot yet recognise.

Living timepieces, for those who refuse the ordinary.
A territory hidden behind the visible, where silhouettes are born before origins themselves.
EMERA. From a language of distant ages. The breaking day, the first light risen from darkness. The light that reveals the contours of the real as much as it transforms them. Like that light, an EMERA does not merely exist on the wrist. It transforms the one who wears it.
In 2023, two men driven by the same obsession chose not to follow the path but to give it form. Patrick Freiburghaus and Cyrano Devanthey do not create a timepiece. They shape a living entity whose sole reason for being is to make its wearer one of a kind. Thus came into being an independent House of Haute Horlogerie, born of the meeting between an ancestral heritage and a vision from an invisible world.
EMERA is not merely the continuation of a tradition. It is its mutation. It draws on the most demanding excellence of Swiss watchmaking, not as an end, but as the means to project the one who wears it toward territories that have no language yet.
EMERA draws on the imaginations that give shape to the worlds to come.
Not as aesthetic but as projection. The idea that there already exist figures the human eye cannot yet recognise.
Untamable forces, between raw power and primal energy. Presences capable of consuming the real before recomposing its contours.
Mechanical organisms that exceed their initial function. At EMERA, the movement does not beat. It resonates, then ignites.
Conceived as impossible geometry. Structures that seem to escape established laws.
Between sculpture and instrument, between architecture and skin. A territory of experimentation where the conventions of the old world quietly dissolve.
What you see is not a watch. It is what survives time, and what makes the one who wears it one of a kind.
A designer at the frontier of emotion and matter. A master watchmaker who lets the movement speak in his place.

“Every component has a will. The art of haute horlogerie is knowing when to listen to it.”
EMERA is born of the attraction of converging forces. From their meeting arises a form that belongs to no known category of the old world.
Living matter. Biomimicry. Skin that captures light and fragments it.
A movement that does not beat. It resonates, then ignites from within.
Impossible geometry. The case is not a shell. It is the movement made visible.
One principle governs every creation: technique serves design, never the reverse. Where others see a frontier, EMERA sees a starting point. What others refuse, the House makes its signature.
Mysterious, obsessive, inaccessible. A matter that escapes time and endures when all else disappears. An EMERA does not measure time. It makes the one who wears it one of a kind.
