# EMERA · Empire of the Unseen

> EMERA is an independent Swiss House of Haute Horlogerie, founded in 2023 in Port (Canton of Bern) by Patrick Freiburghaus and Cyrano Devanthey. The House creates living timepieces, three dimensional mechanical artefacts at the frontier of organic, architectural and mechanical worlds, in ultra limited editions, for those who refuse the ordinary.

- [Cyborg CY 06-1](https://emerawatches.com/cyborg/): Three dimensional structure where the movement is the case. 60 second flying tourbillon, 51 components for 0.35 g, on a ceramic ball bearing 5.06 mm with zirconium oxide balls. 42 carbon scales set by hand on a five axis CNC base. Bezel set with 21 white VVS diamonds. Calibre MRA 01-2 developed in-house, 28,800 vph, 44 hour power reserve. Grade 5 titanium plate, gold oscillating weight. Ceramic and gold case, 46.80 × 56.60 × 15.90 mm. Four anti reflective sapphires. Blanc Sidéral rubber strap with gold pin buckle. 50 m water resistance. Five pieces, CHF 625,000 + VAT. - Flying tourbillon: tourbillon supported only from one side, no upper bridge. EMERA Cyborg CY 06-1 features 51 components for 0.35 g, 60 second rotation, on a 5.06 mm ceramic ball bearing with zirconium oxide balls.
- Inclined balance wheel: regulating organ set at an angle from the movement plane. EMERA Sentinel SE 01-1 uses 20°, variable inertia, three Declafor 1015 arms with three adjustable weights, Nivarox hairspring, Incabloc shock.
- Calibre MRA 01-2: EMERA in-house automatic calibre for the Cyborg CY 06-1.
- Calibre MRA 02-1: EMERA in-house automatic calibre for the Sentinel SE 01-1.
- Tripartite case: three element architectural case on the Sentinel SE 01-1 (Grade 5 titanium bezel + quartz composite caseband and caseback + sapphire crystal).

## Founded
2023. Port, Switzerland. Independent. Entirely Swiss: design, assembly and final inspection in EMERA workshops. Machining entrusted to established Swiss partners. Finishing shared between EMERA hands and rigorously selected masters of anglage and polishing.
